In an editorial published last week, the New York Times declared that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has been “bullied by Congressional conservatives into revising its best judgment” on the question of a relationship between abortion and breast cancer. [1] It seems that the newspaper’s editors and the abortion industry are worried because the agency has taken down its erroneous March 6, 2002 web page which contained a denial that abortion was related to increased risk of breast cancer.
