Planned Parenthood’s version of “don’t ask, don’t tell”

Were you aware that women who express regret about their abortions don’t trust other women to think for themselves? A Planned Parenthood staff member wrote an article critical of a woman holding an “I regret my abortion” sign, complaining “It assumes that women have little to no capacity to think for themselves about their lives and their choices and their bodies.” In fact, the women who hold “I regret my abortion” signs know from experience that they were misled about abortion. They are sharing this reality with others against the politically correct tide of affirmation that abortion is just a “simple medical procedure” to remove the “products of conception.” And they are making a huge difference with the general public, who now seems to understand that abortion is a negative experience with many risks and difficulties.
