Open Letter to Postmaster General from Supporting Mother Teresa Stamp

“The group protesting the stamp has unjustly accused Mother Teresa of having a “dark side,” and has attacked her for using her religious faith in her service to the sick and poor. Furthermore, these same groups never protested a stamp honoring Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., though he proudly understood his fight for civil rights to be rooted in his Christian faith. With love and her charity, Mother Teresa cared for tens of thousands of people regardless of need, race, sex, or religion. She cared for people because they were human, and continues to inspire millions of people even after her death.”
