Pro-life Activists Protest Healthcare “Reform” At The Vatican, Demanding Action on Pro-Abortion “Catholic” Politicians

A group of U.S. anti-abortion campaigners protested outside the Vatican following the passage of a landmark healthcare reform bill on Capitol Hill. Randall Terry, one of the best-known abortion opponents in the U.S., along with ten members of an anti-abortion group; the Vanguard of St. Catherine of Siena, unfurled posters in front of St. Peter’s Basilica. Terry told reporters they had come to Vatican City to remind American bishops of a duty to follow the Pope’s precepts. “This is the most powerful city in the world, and the Pope made it clear that politicians who promote child-killing must not receive communion,” Terry said.
