Death in the Notre Dame Family

I’m sorry to report a death in the Notre Dame family — the demise of the university’s long resistance to the repeated calls by students and faculty for the official endorsement of an organization for homosexual and lesbian students and their supporters. Father Jenkins announced this morning his yielding to the extraordinarily intense drive mounted last year by students and faculty.
