Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church might be best known around town for its massive block party, replete with music, food and drinks. But besides having the oldest church building in Chicago, the parish, at 700 W. Adams St., has also been one of the city’s fastest growing in recent years, and last week in City Hall it cleared an obstacle to expanding even further.
