Arab Christians in Israel will learn computer skills under a joint Catholic and Jewish project to help stem the flow of emigration. The Fassouta Computer Literacy Project will help 3,000 Melkite Catholics in Fassouta, a small village in northern Israel, learn vocational skills, said Cardinal Francis George, archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. George and Steven Nasatir, president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, announced the project at a news conference Monday.
