“The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith will publish a document this Thursday reminding Catholic politicians and lawmakers not to equate homosexual unions with matrimony. The Holy See’s Press Office confirmed today the publication of the text, which is entitled “Considerations on the Plans for the Legal Recognition of Unions Between Homosexual Persons.” (CCI Editor’s note: Isn’t this what was said about abortion 50 years ago? If there no consequences [i.e. denied access to the sacraments] for Catholic politicians who refuse to follow Vatican directives regarding the practice of the faith and keeping in communion with the Catholic Church, why bother?)
