Representatives of Catholic priest associations in Boston, New York, Chicago, southern Illinois and Pittsburgh said Tuesday they plan on taking action to support more than 160 Milwaukee-area priests who signed a letter urging that the priesthood be open to married men. “I would expect strong support,” said Father Larry Dowling of the leftward lurching Association of Chicago Priests. “There is a need for dialogue with the bishops, and this is a way to push that. The priest shortage is affecting everyone.” Gee, so is the lack of faith and rampant dissent from Church teaching among the Priests we have already! And what impact have the liberal, feminist, and disproportionately homosexual cliques dominating church and seminary administration today had on the priest shortage? “Mirror, mirror on the wall, where have all the good men gone?”
