So it should come as no surprise that Christian charity and love as St. Augustine of Hippo and St. Patrick of Ireland knew it is characterized today in Europe as ‘hate.’ It is a massive human tragedy of ‘biblical proportions.’ These types of laws may not be possible today in the United States, but as our culture is made over in the image of secular man, that may not always be the case. Given the last 50 years of radical decisions by the US Supreme Court (including what may turn out to be the grand-daddy of them all, Lawrence vs. Texas) future generations may not be so lucky.
