Noonan Elementary Academy in Mokena, IL Shines For Outstanding Academic and Catholic Instruction

One of the surest signs of the Catholic revival are the independent Catholic academies quietly springing up all over the US in response to the growing demand for orthodox, authentic Catholic education. One of the more prominent success stories is the Noonan Elementary Academy, located in the far southwestern suburbs of Chicago. Founded in 1994 by Roberta and Joe Noonan, the academy has grown from a few dozen families to nearly 400 students enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade. As the new school year begins, workers are putting the finishing touches on a self-funded expansion that added four new classrooms, a full gym, and a library to the original thirteen classroom building.
