Stop the Islamization of Texas

By Amil Imani – on December 15, 2018

Islamization was a term that my friend Pamela Geller introduced into the daily lexicon of the freedom-loving West. The Oxford Dictionary defines Islamization as “the process of bringing someone or something under the influence of Islam or under Islamic rule.”

Texas is becoming a major hub, after California and New York, for Muslim resettlement. As more and more Muslims arrive in America, and as they reproduce with great fecundity while they convert the disenchanted, they gather more power to undermine and present a serious challenge to the American system of governance — our representative democracy.

A Pew Forum estimate in 2017 said that there were 3.45 million Muslims, constituting about 1.1% of the total U.S. population. New estimates show that the U.S. Muslim population continues to grow.

“But by 2050, Pew researchers estimate Islam will supplant Judaism as the second-most popular religion in the U.S. with 8.1 million Muslims ultimately making up 2.1 percent of the future population.”

Currently, Islam is making inroads in traditionally non-Muslim places, where it is beginning to run deep roots and vie with the laws and cultures of its hosts. Muslims are taking advantage of the freedom that democracies provide. They use the same provisions of the law that are intended to protect and enhance liberty in order to subvert democracy and freedom.

Today, our country is faced with a formidable enemy in the Trojan Horse called Islam. This clear danger makes it imperative to revisit the U.S. Constitution and see if the freedom of religion gives Muslims a license to break other American laws.

It is truly hard to imagine that of all places in the country, Texas, the most conservative state in the Union, is completely undefended before Islamic subversion. I personally have witnessed the fact that politicians on both sides are either silent or openly appease Muslims for the fear of being characterized as Islamophobe and racist. We, the people, elect our leaders, and we hold them accountable to be honorable. When they are using their voice to call Islam a great religion, the deadliest threat to everything we cherish, not only do they legitimize jihad and Sharia, but also, they confuse others with a false belief.

Despite large numbers of Muslims in Texas, they are still considered an extremely small minority. According to Wikipedia, “Houston is home to a significant number of Muslims in Texas.” However, this small minority has caused more trouble in the US than the all other minorities combined. And that is due to Islamic belief. Whether Islam apologists admit it or not, Islam is not compatible with our rule of law and our Constitution.

Recently, Darl Easton, the Tarrant County Texas Republican Chairman, appointed a devout Muslim, Dr. Shahid Shafi, as vice chair of the Tarrant County Republican Party, despite the fact that Shafi declined support of Israel and refused to condemn Hamas. Even though Shafi was known to be a devout Muslim and has had contact with CAIR, he was still selected for the job. According to the Center for Security Policy, “CAIR, is an entity founded by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian franchise: Hamas, a group officially designated since 1994 as a terrorist organization.”

There is no question that Texas has become a potential bastion for Islamic radicalism:

“In December 2001, three months after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the U.S. Treasury Department designated the Holy Land Foundation as a “Specially Designated Terrorist” group. We raided the organization’s Texas headquarters, seized its assets, and shut down its operation. At the time, Holy Land was ranked as the country’s largest Muslim charitable organization.”

The Curtis Culwell Center terrorist attack, at which I was personally present, was organized by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, and is yet another testament that Texas and Islam are at odd with each other.

The problem is too few of our leaders and politicians have any understanding of the mission of Islam in the United States. This lack of knowledge of knowing one’s enemy is not limited to Texas, but in all our 50 states. Even the September 11 attacks had little effect on our elected officials to stop Islam from spreading in America. Most of them have never read the Quran, Islam’s holy book.

Islam actively suppresses and even prohibits the practice of other religions, including those of the “people of the book,” Jews and Christians. There is not a single church or synagogue in the cradle of Islam, Saudi Arabia, while thousands of mosques are tolerated and welcomed in non-Muslim lands.

The problem is, too few Americans are aware of all this, and organizations such as CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations are taking full advantage of our naïveté. Moreover, Islam stands in stark contrast to the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and what the First Amendment was designed to protect: our God-given unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Understand that Sharia is very complex, and it’s derived from multiple Islamic sources.

Unfortunately, terrorist attacks during the events such as the one occurred in Garland, Texas, only prove the point that Islam is incompatible with freedom, civilization, and that the religion’s most fervent practitioners in fact are dangerous and anything but peaceful. In this regard, Pamela Geller was proven absolutely correct in her effort to alert the world to the perils represented by unchecked Islamization in America and elsewhere.
