“During a speech before the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons on September 19, 2003, I identified several lies about the abortion-breast cancer (ABC) research, which have been posted on the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Web site since 1999. One of the most egregious fabrications concocted by this political agency was this statement: “The scientific rationale for an association between abortion and breast cancer is based on limited experimental data in rats and is not consistent with human data.” On the contrary, 26 out of 32 studies in the worldwide medical literature reported risk elevations. The agency provided some of the funding for most of the American studies – at that time, 12 out of 13 reported risk elevations.”
