Christian Coalition of America commends the actions of Florida Governor Jeb Bush and the Florida state Senate and House of Representatives in defying the culture of death and saving the life of Terri Schiavo. She is the brain-damaged woman whose feeding tube was reinserted after the Governor called a special session of the state legislature and after the House and Senate overwhelmingly passed legislation authorizing the Governor to reinsert her feeding tube. Within an hour after the Florida state legislature passed the bill, Governor Bush signed it into law. Governor Bush said, “Like tens of thousands of Floridians who have raised their voices in support of Terri Schiavo’s right to life, I have been deeply moved by these tragic circumstances.”
