Jack Ames, who has been leading the Face the Truth Tour in WV, MD and DC for Defend Life has been arrested in Maryland along with 17 other pro-lifers. The Face the Truth Tour is in its eighth year. They go to three cities a day for one week holding signs on busy highways so people have to face the truth about abortion. He uses hard working college kids from St. Mary’s Seminary and elsewhere to lead the groups of from 20 to 60 people. According to friends of Jack Ames, he and his friends were in Bel Air, MD, Saturday August 2 and were arrested while peacefully holding pro-life signs on the side of the road. They were not told what they were being arrested for, nor were they read their rights during arrest.
