President Obama, in an attempt to suborn Catholics, started feeding us a line about “Common Ground”. What sort of Common Ground is there really coming from the Obama Administration? What sort of response has really been coming from the Holy See? Judge for yourself whether or not there is a lot of “common ground” between the Obama Administration and the Holy See on the abortion issue. The events chosen are selected, but I think representative. Leave aside the obvious problem of appointments (e.g., Kmiec, Sebelius, etc.). We could have waited to do this for the actual anniversary of the President’s inauguration, but it is better to get this out there well in advance of the the anniversary of Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton.
